Smart Learner Assistant is a skills-only ChatGPT plugin that provides supplemental learning help for parents, educators, and students ages 13 and older. It supports Grades 1–12 and can explain concepts, guide practice, review work, and help learners build understanding and confidence.

Who May Use It

Smart Learner Assistant is intended for parents, educators, and students ages 13 and older. Students ages 13–17 need permission from a parent or guardian. Children under 13 must not use the assistant independently. An adult may use it to prepare and conduct learning activities for a younger child and must enter the requests and review the responses.

How It Works

The plugin provides teaching instructions within ChatGPT. It does not connect to the Smart Learner desktop software, customer accounts, purchase records, student profiles, lesson histories, or progress reports. It does not collect payments or require a Smart Learner purchase.

Users access the assistant through their own eligible ChatGPT account. Available features, tools, usage limits, and any ChatGPT charges are determined by OpenAI and the user’s account settings.

Important Educational Notice

Smart Learner Assistant provides supplemental educational support. It is not an accredited school, a complete homeschool curriculum, or a replacement for a teacher. AI-generated responses can contain mistakes, so adults and students should review important answers, calculations, sources, and schoolwork.
