Why Science Matters More Than Ever — and How Parents Can Make It Easier at Home

Science is one of those subjects children often enjoy when they can see it, hear it, and connect it to real life.

Children often remember scientific ideas better when they can connect them to something they have actually seen.

Instead of asking only:

“What did you learn in science today?”

try asking:

“Did anything you learned today remind you of something we see at home?”

2. Encourage Your Child to Ask “Why?”

Children naturally ask questions.

Why is the sky blue?

Why do leaves change color?

Why does a magnet stick to some things but not others?

You do not have to know every answer.
